Fate, Karma, Magic and Purity
I think I’m falling in love with The Smiths, which just reinforces my belief in fate and karma. To the few people who actually read this site, I’ll explain someday. For now, let’s just say this year is crrrrrrazy so far, as in crazy delicious, and I don’t want to jinx it.
Fate, you say? Karma? Yes, indeed. I’m a holistic reductionist spiritual agnostic scientist who believes in emergence, karma and magic. A Carl Sagan and Dr. Karl acolyte who yet refuses to live a life of abject ideological purity. I dream of all things in heaven and earth, hold contradictory philosophies, and enjoy every minute of it.
So, this year, the stars are aligned and the sun warms even Jupiter, who’s normally content to bask in his own self-heating shrinkage. All setbacks are as pebbles in my Tevas, seeds in my orange. I am not self-righteous and pure, I am good and I push my own boundaries. Is that not success?
Friday the 13th update: This post edited for brevity. Or is it obscurity? I can never tell the difference.
