I feel I should clarify some of my thoughts from this earlier post.
When Heraclitus speaks ill of Dionysian revelry, their hedonistic rituals, I agree more than I disagree, with regard to empty revelry. Spiritual revelry is quite a different matter, and most modern humans could use more of it, I think.
