What?
There’s nothing going on. Well, sometimes I just lose all interest. OK, fine, here’s what’s going on:
Politics: Republican thinkmeister Frank Luntz’s advice to forward the right’s own agenda: avoid facts & figures like the plague. Now would be a good time to start getting rid of all your debt. Unrelated to all of that, thanks to Dank, I made contact with my local Democratic Club and I’m going to my first meeting with them tonight. I may or may not feel like reporting back about it.
Music: I downloaded the new Fischerspooner album that’s supposed to be coming out in April, Odyssey. Goddamn I love Fischerspooner. Then, today, Nine Inch Nails’ Pretty Hate Machine came up and it occurred to me that Fischerspooner are pretty much doing what Nine Inch Nails did back then, except they’re having fun and not so serious. Oh, and they’re different. Coincidentally, Nine Inch Nails are also supposed to have a new ablum out later this year. My guess is I’ll like the Fischerspooner one more, but I’m open to being pleasantly surprised…
Television: I got the first disc of the first season of Farscape from Netflix and immediately loved the show. I’m not sure why I never watched it before, but rest assured, I’m now committed to getting every single disc of the show. The star of the show, Ben Browder, will be moving to my other favorite sci-fi television show, Stargate SG1, for its next and 9th season, and I can already tell he’ll fit right in.
That’s what’s going on. Oh, and I can’t finish the history book I’m reading and get on to the next one I want to read even more because I’m wasting all my time playing a stupid online computer game. Dammit, this weekend I’m gonna plow through and finish it, I swear. If my Sunday hangover will allow, that is…
I can’t speak for how Alex spends her time. Well, I will say that the progression is kinda cool, especially if you imagine it as a topographical indication of elevation. Like, imagine the start is a continent entirely submerged under water, and each “hour” represents receding waters at a certain depth. …And then just sit back and watch the islands emerge and become mountains. Yes, that’s a crazy interpretation, and I’m a crazy man. What?! Go away!
