My stomach is at war with me. Felt like it was devouring itself today on my way home. I decided against the Dem Club meeting, much to my own disappointment, and am trying to baby myself with easy foods and relaxing at home. I had thought I had the acid reflux licked, but it feels (tonight) like it’s migrated down and turned into an ulcer. So tomorrow I’ll call my new doctor and make a first appointment. Maybe it was just because I didn’t eat much today, but I want to get a “professional” opinion. Too bad I probably won’t be able to see him for a couple weeks, by which time I’ll probably feel fine again. Ah well… Next Wed. is the next DFNYC meetup, hopefully my body will play nice that day and not give me an easy excuse to stay home and play hooky.
